POVERTY KEEPING YOUNG PEOPLE AWAY FROM SCHOOL AND SPORT

In the ghetto, it’s a normal occurrence to have the youths drop out of school due to lack of money or fail to pursue their beloved sports due to lack of facilities and opportunities.

At CSPRO Academy, our commitment to youth goes beyond just football training. We are building a future for Zimbabwe’s next generation by combining education, mentorship, and community support. To achieve this, we rely on ongoing donations that allow us to provide scholarships, maintain the training facilities, and offer the youth a safe space to grow.

Since the foundation of CSPRO Academy, the youth of Zimbabwe’s most impoverished communities have found not just a football academy but a home, thanks to our dedicated team and volunteers. But our vision is much bigger than where we are now. We dream of expanding to provide even more opportunities to young athletes, scholars, and future leaders.

Thanks to the support of the AC Sparta Prague football club, we were able to provide new football kits for our players last year. However, the academy’s day-to-day operations are still personally funded by Costa Nhamoinesu, and we need your help to scale our mission.

CSPRO Academy offers not just football training but also a commitment to education and life skills, as reflected in our partnership with Seke 1 High School, where many of the youth receive scholarships. Our volunteer coaches and my mother, who serves as the clubhouse caretaker, give tirelessly to make sure these kids have a safe space to call their own.
