The Chitungwiza Junior Football Development League (CJDFL) tournament brought together young talents from across the community, showcasing their skills and passion for the beautiful game.
Held in the main stadium (Chibuku Stadium), the tournament attracted a great turnout, with fans cheering on our budding football stars every step of the way. The boys had a wonderful day on the field, displaying exciting football and giving it their all in every match. Despite facing tough competition, they showed determination and teamwork, ultimately finishing 4th in the tournament. A special shoutout to our player Russel Garai, who was rightfully named Man of the Tournament for his outstanding performance!
Congratulations to the eventual winners, Victors Academy, for their impressive achievement in the tournament. Your hard work and dedication have paid off, and we commend you for your success.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of the tournament, from the players and coaches to the fans and organizers. Your support and enthusiasm are vital in nurturing the talents of our young players and fostering a love for the game within our community. As we celebrate the success of the CJDFL tournament, we also want to raise a constructive complaint to the governing bodies about the state of Chibuku stadium. Improvements are needed to provide better facilities for our players and spectators, and we hope that action will be taken to address these serious and immediate issues.
